Nov. 11 & 12 - Dave Weaver & Gwynn Turnbull Weaver This two day clinic focuses on good classical horsemanship and how it applies to practical working situations. A great lead in to their ranch roping clinics, this clinic also stands on its own as a clearly defined fountain of good classical horsemanship. Gwynn Turnbull Weaver and Dave Weaver team up to engage students in the basic and yet eternal elements of laying the foundation for advanced maneuvers, and returning to those elements for problem horses. This clinic engages every rider with loads of one on one instruction from two of the best instructors going down the road. Nov. 13 – 15 - Dave Weaver & Gwynn Turnbull Weaver Taught by the creators and directors of the nationally acclaimed Californios Ranch Roping and Stock Horse Contest (as featured in Western Horseman Magazine), this three day clinic focuses on traditional ranch roping techniques, beginning to advanced instruction on preparation, positioning, roping shots, cattle handling, running rope, and some groundwork for branding and doctoring situations. World class reata man Dave Weaver brings with him over 30 years of purist buckaroo experience, working exclusively and solely as a buckaroo on the biggest and most historic Great Basin outfits. From hackamore, two rein and into the bridle, Dave Weaver teaches ranch roping like none other, focusing on the advancement of a horses training while doing a job. Joined by his wife Gwynn Turnbull Weaver, a teacher of unbounding quality, and an accomplished horsewoman in and out of the show world, the team proves to be an incredible duo- with twice the instructional power of any one clinician. Students will not be disappointed in the quantity and quality of so much one on one instruction.
