Nov. 1: Brent Graef Lesson Day. 4 time slots 2 hours each. You can do a private lesson or combine a group up to 3 people. This time is to work on whatever you would like Brent's help with. Cost is the same whether 1 person or 3 people. Time Slots Available between 9:00am and 3:30pm - Click here for more information
Nov. 2-4- Brent Graef, Horsemanship from the Horse's Perspective. Use cows or the trail as a tool to improve our horsemanship. First, spend time visiting some of the basics of good horsemanship. We'll work to get better stops and crisper turns and then....... BRING ON THE COWS OR THE TRAIL! Giving yourself and your horse a common focus allows the two of you a great opportunity to blend together and work as a team. The emphasis will be on good horsemanship, and low stress cow handling or trail riding. You'll learn the basic moves a horse needs to effectively work a cow or use out on the trail. You'll develop an understanding of some of the key elements used & the positioning required to work cattle & maneuver on the trail. Anyone is welcome to participate, whether you ride English or western. You and your horse do not need any previous cow working experience. (We will not be roping in this class.) The Last Day of this Class will be either playing with Cows or Out on the Trail (depending upon weather). If cows are used; the cost of cows will be added closer to the clinic date ($25.00 per person). To participate in this class you must be comfortable at the walk, trot, and canter. Click here for more information.
